Last Day

Hi Families! I know we have talked and talked about this, especially at portfolio night, but this was an amazing year, and as excited as I am for summer, I am also sad to let this year go. Every single day was a complete joy, and I have you and your children to thank for [...]

Here are some pictures of our amazing bridge field trip!

Bridge Contest, Take One

Today, we tested our practice brides, before the real contest next week. We had two styles: larger, flat-topped bridges, and smaller, suspension bridges. We tested the larger bridges with books, and the smaller, with human force. The winners of the first category were Matei, Riley and Alvina! The winners of the second category were Dustin, [...]

ECO Project

Here are some pictures of our final ECO Project! Thank you so much to the PTA for your sponsorship of this great program!

Oregon Trail

Happy Weekend! Today, we reenacted several stories of real people who traveled the Oregon Trail. The kids did a fabulous job, and our buddy class appreciated our work. I also took pictures of each wagon party in their amazing costumes! What a fun day!

Snow Day!

We learned sculpture today during art! Enjoy these pictures and have a great spring break!

A Visit From a Surgeon and an OR Nurse

To wrap up our anatomy unit, we were insanely lucky, and had a surgeon and an OR nurse come in to visit. I am so sorry that I forgot to post the pictures! We got to practice suturing pigs’ feet and performing laparoscopic surgery, and see a video of minimally invasive surgery! What an amazing [...]

Digestive System Lab

Happy Presidents’ Day! On Thursday we did a great digestive system lab to finish off our digestive system week! Ask your kids about it – they are full of extreme facts. Here are some pretty disgusting pictures – don’t worry, it’s not real poop, it just looks like it!

We are working on the body systems, now, and have made it through the nervous system. Thanks to our [...]

Lewis and Clark Field Trip Pictures

I know, this is far overdue, but here are some wonderful pictures of our field trip in December. We had the opportunity to see a real Lewis and Clark gun fired, a clyster, and sit in a canoe! It was a great trip.
